Helping Cincinnati SOAR to New Heights!
With your help, George Zamary can promote positive change in Cincinnati.  He is qualified to help lead this city
to New Heights for the following reasons:

1)
Proven Results and Leadership  - George Zamary continues to improve Cincinnati through his efforts with

   local organizations.  For example:

    •  George is currently the Board President of The Know Theatre of Cincinnati in Over-The-Rhine,
working with artists and developers to bring more people and businesses to this part of our city.  His
efforts here are also making our city streets safer.

    •  As a former Chairperson of The Urbanists, George facilitated revitalization programs for Fountain
Square and Over-The-Rhine.  More people are spending time downtown and in OTR now.

    •  As a volunteer with the Fine Arts Fund, Cincinnati Art Museum, Taft Museum of Art and the
Mercantile Library, George works to promote residents’ active participation in the arts to encourage
the continued growth of these great city assets.

2)
Passion for Cincinnati – Having lived in Cincinnati for nearly ten years (and downtown for the last five

years), George has a vested interest in seeing our city thrive.  He sees enormous, untapped potential in

Downtown and the first ring suburbs that comprise the City of Cincinnati.  George feels we can apply

learnings from cities like Seattle, Charlotte and others who are successfully building projects similar to our

Banks Project and are successfully dealing with similar challenges to our own.  We also need to complete

projects that help unify our great city like the streetcar system.  We must not only build the system, though.

We must encourage businesses and residents to locate along the line in order to make it a true success.

3)
Relevant Skills – As a lawyer, George has built the communication and negotiation skills to effectively

present and pass legislation as well as work with state, city, business and community leaders to make

positive change.  He has also built strong leadership skills through his community and professional

activities that will enable him to effectively lead Cincinnati to New Heights.
